Breaking Chains Inc. provides Greater Cleveland, Ohio residents with pre-purchase counseling, post-purchase counseling, and Foreclosure Prevention & Property Tax Counseling Services. 

We have a staff of Neighbor Works Certified Counselors and we are HUD approved. Our financial counselors are committed to providing Housing Counseling and Financial Literacy to individuals and businesses.

We are a  nonprofit organization built with a thorough understanding of the issues and individual needs.

We focus on strengthening and stabilizing the financial well-being of our Greater Cleveland community, neighborhoods, and individuals.

Breaking Chains Inc. has serviced over 20,000 individuals and families in reaching their goals for home ownership with a success rate of 75% since 2002. 

Over the years, Breaking Chains Inc. has recognized the increased need and demand for Housing and financial literacy counseling for new homeowners, renters, and businesses alike.

We also recognize that our senior population will soon be the largest population and it is important that they are able to financially support themselves so that they are able to live comfortably in place. Breaking Chains Inc. is focused on providing personal and professional service.
